The Hôtel de la Marine invites you to its ‘July Monarchy’ period ball!
Specialists in re-enacting historical balls, the members of the Carnet de Bals association will transport you to the magical atmosphere of the prestigious receptions that once brought this historic building to life.
These enthusiasts will take over the main courtyard to offer demonstrations and participatory dances, where everyone can be swept onto the dance floor; and the state rooms, for refined dance demonstrations in a sumptuous setting.
how to attend the ball
There are two ways to enjoy the ball:
- In the main courtyard, watch the demonstrations free of charge and join the dancers on the floor for open-to-all participatory dances.
- In the state rooms, enjoy the dance demonstrations, which are accessible by booking a ‘Period Ball’ ticket.
