Online booking is recommended. On site, a ticket counter suitable for all visitors is available at the ticket office. 

People with disabilities are entitled to priority access and free admission in the following cases:

  • Holders of a valid Mobility Inclusion Card marked ‘priority’ or ‘disability ’: free admission is also granted to the accompanying person.
  • Holders of an Adult Disability Certificate issued within the last 6 months: free admission is not granted to the accompanying person.

The ‘parking’ version of the Mobility Inclusion Card does not entitle the holder to free travel. 

Recognition of Disabled Worker Status (RQTH) does not entitle the holder to free travel.

By metro 

Concorde station: lines 1, 8 and 12. Exit 6 ‘Hôtel de la Marine’ or Exit 3 ‘Rue Saint Florentin’, 100 metres from the monument’s entrance. Not accessible to people with reduced mobility. 

Madeleine station: line 14. Exit 1 ‘Madeleine’, 400 metres from the monument’s entrance. Accessible to people with reduced mobility.  

By bus 

Concorde-Royale bus stop: routes 42, 45, 84 and 94, 90 metres from the monument’s entrance. 

Concorde stop: lines 42, 45, 72, 73, 130 metres from the monument’s entrance. 

By bike 

Vélib’ station: Cambon-Rivoli/Madeleine. A cycle park is available at 1 Rue Saint-Florentin.  

The Cambon-Rivoli Vélib’ station is 220 metres from the monument’s entrance. 

By train

All Parisian railway stations. 

By car 

The monument does not have a car park or a drop-off point.  

Parking is available at the car park below.

Access

The entrance to the monument is at 2 Place de la Concorde.  

To reach the reception and ticket office at the Hôtel de la Marine:  

  • I walk through the first portico to enter an open courtyard.

  • I head to the right towards the second archway with a clock. I go through the door and the security gate. If the door is too heavy, a member of staff can help me.

  • I arrive in a covered courtyard. An officer greets me. I ask him my questions. He directs me to the relevant department.

Facilities for your comfort

  • An Easy-to-Read and Easy-to-Understand (FALC) booklet in French is available below.  
  • The volume of the Confident headphones can be adjusted as required. 
  • Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted in all areas. 
  • Seating is available in the lounges and on the loggia at the end of the tour. 
  • A lift is available to access the tour route. 
  • Three wheelchairs and 20 folding chairs (Stockholm model) are available on request at the ticket office. 
  • A secure cloakroom is available at reception for storing your personal belongings. Visitors are responsible for any valuables left in the cloakroom. Items larger than 40 x 40 x 40 cm are not permitted within the monument.

The Hôtel de la Marine welcomes groups by booking only. 

To help us organise your visit as effectively as possible, please familiarise yourself with our tour options and practical information, then send us your booking request (at least one and a half months before your desired date). 

The Hôtel de la Marine’s educational services team is available to provide any further information or assist with specific projects.
