presentation

As part of the new exhibition A Taste for the Renaissance: a dialogue between collections, presented by the Al Thani Collection at the Hôtel de la Marine, we invite you to join us for a lecture devoted to the precious metal arts of the Renaissance.

You'll discover how Renaissance art was embodied in works of precious metal, reflecting the status and taste of their owners, collected like works of art and hoarded like monetary reserves by 16th-century princes.

The exhibition is organized by the Al Thani Collection Foundation and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
