In Verona, the Capulet and Montague families have a long-standing hatred for each other, clashing in the streets at every opportunity. Until, at a ball, Romeo, the Montague son, meets Juliet, the Capulet daughter. The two teenagers fall madly in love. Married in secret the very next day by Brother Laurent, they hope to reconcile their parents. But tragedy shatters their hopes, and comedy turns to tragedy...
